The lines above have come from none other than Acharya Vinoba Bhave, the pioneer of the Bhudaan Movement, born in Pen, he was regarded as the National Teacher of India. Pen had been a renowned center of Learning during the Regime of Maratha & later under British Rule.
New Vision Education Society has decided to work towards bringing back the lost glory of Pen Taluka by making it the renowned center of learning again.
Seeds of thought behind great Deeds:
One of the reasons that a teacher is held with high regard is her selfless care & concern for students. This trait of a teacher is the seed of vision education society. Madam Neeta Ramdharne who worked in Pen city as a teacher felt for the children who had to go through such hardships of traveling to far away places for good education. She spoke to Mr.Raju Pichika (Civil Engineer & Developer), Mr.Prakash Zawre (Civil Engineer & Developer), Mr.Rashad Mujawar (Social Worker), Mrs.Pratiksha Kadam (M.A, B.Ed & School Teacher) & Mr.Milind Salunkhe (Government Official), and the idea was conceptualized. Also, experts like Mr.Gaurav Ramdharne (IT Engineer, UK) & Ms. Pranali Kamble (Administrative Officer) enlighted the vision with practicality and reliance. These eight people are the pillars of the New Vision Education Society. We cannot forget to mention the support given by Mr.Pravin Kadam who worked hard to put this project on fast-track by channelizing the government administrative process. After months of planning and analyzing the actual groundwork began in July 2020. The Bhoomipoojan was held on the 6th of April 2021 with the hope to provide an astonishing future to every child that comes to New Vision Junior College.
Turning the Stones to Milestones:
One of the most celebrated aspects of Vision Education Society is the time during which the college is founded- Covid Pandemic & Lockdown. Directors believe that lockdown gave them enough time to think and materialize the idea of New Vision thus they could say that they turned the stones of hurdles like pandemic into Milestone of their journey. When the world was in distress of health they didn’t give up on the challenge rather they thought of the future that will lead us all into bright light of knowledge, education and wisdom.
